ABOUT ME
MY STORY
I was born in Columbus, Ohio but moved to Athens, Ohio in third grade, where I was immediately drawn to dance, music and art. I studied modern, jazz, hip-hop, and ballet at Factory Street Studio through 2019 in addition to attending several music camps, where I learned to play the bass guitar and drums. In 2020, my family relocated to northwest Ohio, where the pandemic forced me to focus on other forms of expression. I spent my entire senior year pursuing every art class I could, including painting, sculpture, and photography. I have always loved photography as a form of expression, and often staged my friends, family and pets for elaborate portrait sessions. I love nature and spend nice days hiking or searching for cool rocks on the shores of Lake Michigan or Lake Huron. I also really enjoy animals, having grown up caring for dogs, cats, rats, guinea pigs, frogs, fish, hamsters and other critters.
Please note that I do not have a brick and mortar studio space. I prefer to take photos in outdoor locations, utilizing natural and urban backdrops throughout our community.

“I am not usually a fan of getting my photo taken, but Alia helped me pose so I felt comfortable. She also made me laugh, which meant I gave real smiles. I was happy with the results of my senior pictures because she made it so easy.”
